Downtown Stuart is the setting of the city's historic district, the original village settled by the first visitors to Martin County. Martin County's cities are the town of Jupiter Island, Ocean Breeze Park, Sewall's Point and Stuart. The unincorporated areas of Martin County are Hobe Sound, Indiantown, Jensen Beach, North River Shores, Palm City, Port Salerno, Rio and Port Mayaca.

St. Lucie County, Florida

St. Lucie County is a dynamic and fast growing part of the east coast of Florida, and has the potential for even more growth, while managing to preserve its charm and precious natural resources.

Located on Florida's east coast, St. Lucie County is 120 miles north of Miami, 120 miles south of Orlando, 225 miles south of Jacksonville, and within 3 hours of Tampa-making it a convenient drive to most of the state. It's centrally located with Indian River County to the North, Martin County to its South, and Okeechobee to the West. With its affordable and plentiful land and accessibility from most locations, St. Lucie County is an ideal place for businesses to set up shop or relocate.

With 21 miles of unspoiled beachfront, St. Lucie County is a popular destination for tourists, beachgoers, boaters, and divers - whose search for gold and gems still remain from ancient shipwrecks, give this area its name the "Treasure Coast".

St. Lucie County is also home to the Indian River Lagoon, which provides an important estuary for wildlife, and the beautiful St. Lucie River - all of which make it important to research facilities, and both commercial and recreational fisherman alike.
